Richard Burandt's work has appeared in several local galleries throughout the area as well as the Harris - Stanton Gallery in Akron, Ohio. Currently, he is represented by the Nan Miller Gallery. His paintings and drawings are in both private and public collections locally and in several states. He has a BFA with honors from the Rochester Institute of Technology and has taken workshops and classes from several local and nationally known artists such as Steve Carpenter, Tony van Hasselt, Wendy Gwirtzman, Hans Junga,
and Bill Vscak.
Landscapes and the human figure are his current subjects of interest. His approach is to record the subject, then try to add another dimension in technique and personal view.
